Docent Training Are you enthusiastic about culture, history, identity, or civil liberties? Are you patient and flexible with requests? A good listener? Do you prefer a visitor-centered approach? Then join the Docent team at O.N.E. !
Docents at the Legacy Center interact with the public in a variety of ways, from greeting visitors and increasing their interest in the subject matter, to answering phones or selling merchandise in our store. Many people have found this rewarding volunteer work. More experienced docents may, with the assistance of training, lead group tours and other educational programs.
O.N.E. has a particular need for docents on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Half-shifts, and weekday hours, are also available.
